Ddp2 ORI

Ddp2 ORI origin of replication behaves as an extrachromosomal plasmid when the Ddp2 ORF gene product (replication factor) is present.

• The AX3-ORF+ strain has that gene (PMID 7557400). (strain ID: 1520)
  
• Can also co-transform with the pREP plasmid to provide the ORF gene (PMID 11078649).
